Big News!

Hey babe, I thought you might like to wear this today - Rob

The moment that changed it all, this is how Rob proposed to me - followed by a "will you marry me" of course! While I'm sleepy and on my way out the door for work he was walking downstairs to get a "cup of coffee" and came back with this beautiful ring!!! I can't believe my first few words were "are you sure" and "is it real" but I did squeak out a YES! We are so excited to start the planning of our big day and the rest of our lives.

Beach Week - More Cubicle Decor

It's Wipe Out Week at work and it's beach themed. There weren't any beach decorations I really liked and I didn't want to spend a ton of money on this project. I've also tried to find some way to decorate my cube for 6 months now and I think I've found the perfect theme - beach :) and probably some Lilly too!

Lauren helped me craft together this palm tree out of poster board, duck tape and tissue paper flowers, it's huge. For about $5 and 1 hour it fantastic, so cheerful and happy!

  Seriously, the whole place is beachy, tons of beach balls, hula skirts, flamingos and umbrellas.


 

Matching Tunics and Placemats and Pillows OH MY!

The www. will lead you to so many wonderful things, like Sail to Sables website full of beautiful matching Tunics ( I could wear one every day and come close) placemats and pillows.

Don't they look like a fun group?  and love each and every tunic they have on. love love love love love love!

I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas

It's still only August and 80 degrees, but I'm ready to decorate for Christmas, get the fire going, drink hot chocolate, the whole thing.

Fiddle Leaf Fig Trees

 I have an issue with fake plants and flowers, I shouldn't, I should love them because I can't keep anything alive. I rather prefer real plants and flowers but I did not inherit a green thumb from my grandmother (Botanist at the University of Kentucky) or my mother who has a real lemon tree and dozens of orchids that bloom and rebloom! She's like the orchid wisperer.

Now that I have kept my herb garden alive for almost the entire summer I want to take on some of these Fiddle Leaf Fig trees I've been obsessing over. I looked everywhere for them and just happened to stubble across some at Coach in the mall... of all places. So I now have the contact for the Coach tree lady  :) 

I'm so close to ordering one ....or two, it will be ther perfect excuse to move the old FAKE trees out of the house to maybe the basement (or the trash)

 I love these in pairs, need two for one on each side of the couch seperating the living room and the kitchen

Lately when I'm day dreaming at work I look around and notice my sad little grey box and eventually make my way over to Pinterest to find some cute ideas for decorating it

Definitely a gallery wall with silhouetts and fun prints
